Hey everyone! I’m Jasmine, 26 years young living in California with my husband, daughter and our cat. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I just wanted to start off with a little bit about me and my story thus far. I started Lavishly In Love because it’s been a long dream of mine to be in the fashion industry/create a blog. Ever since I can remember I have always loved fashion. When I was 17, I saved up almost all of my lunch, work, and chore money to be able to buy these Chanel earrings I had to have. And from that point on I was in love and somewhat obsessed with fashion. I remember my dad would say “if you put that much effort into your schoolwork as you do shopping online then maybe you’d get better grades.” (I graduated with a 3.2) And he was probably right, but I just loved seeing what was new and trending or what the hottest products were. After I graduated high school, I moved to San Francisco and went to the Art Institute and majored in fashion marketing and management. As much as I loved doing it and was truly good at it, I just felt like I needed a major that was a little more broad just in case fashion didn’t work out for me. In the midst of moving back home and finishing my major, my then boyfriend (now husband) and I had a baby and life just threw my plans a little off course.
It’s been four years since our daughter has been born and I’m so ready for this next chapter in my life. My husband is incredibly supportive and only wants to see my thrive in something I truly love to do. Lavishly In Love will feature fashion, beauty, fitness, and lifestyle.
