Well before I had Rory, I was a fitness junkie. But now as a mom of two it’s a lot harder to get in those workouts, keep up on my water intake or even my diet. I actually feel very frustrated working out and not being able to do what I could before baby. I know that may seem silly to some, but I hold myself to a higher standard in the gym. I was capable of lifting heavy and not having to modify anything! But it’s almost as if I’m starting over and it’s just a mental struggle for me. So one night I couldn’t sleep and I recently discovered my newest obsession(s) and I couldn’t be more thankful for them! I discovered the BBG program and I was instantly hooked. The workouts are simple yet so effective. The meal plan is great and has new and interesting recipes to get out of your diet rut. And the app that goes along with the program is incredibly user friendly! If you ever wanted to get in shape, stop what you’re doing and get this app! The first night I did BBG I was doing it with my five year old and it was awesome. She loved spending the time with me and it made me feel so good that I was setting an example for her. She’s a very active kid but also an electronic junkie and for 28 mins, plus the cool down, it was just mommy & Zooey time and I love that! This whole program can be done in the comfort of your own home, which is a huge perk for someone with kids and find it hard to get away. My other discovery are these RX Bars. I have a very particular diet that doesn’t include dairy or soy and these bars check off all my boxes and taste ridiculously yummy. I found them at Trader Joe’s for $1.99 per bar and the chocolate sea salt is my fav! My semi new obsession is the S’well bottle. I aim for 5 full bottles a day and my water always stays cool and very refreshing. I love sticking a sprig of mint inside so my water isn’t so boring. I have also been guilty of filling it up with wine for a movie with my hubby 🙂 I love how mutipurpose it is and this cool print is so perfect for me!
